it hasn't just been since she gave birth to her son that elizabeth was motherly. from an early age, people followed her around like she was a mother duckling. she has acted like she was forty since she was six and always had her head on straight and logical. elle is down to earth and gives great advice, caring for anyone who needs help. she yearns to help anyone in need and will not accept no when she knows someone needs help. this works as a disadvantage for her because it causes her to become entangled in others problems but she only does it because she cares. it goes to show that caring too much can cause damage as well.

ANGRY
an anger has been building in elle for years. it has been an anger towards herself, an anger towards her exhusband, and an anger that she has been taking out on innocent victims. elle has a tendency to flip at the drop of a pin and can be a bit on edge at times. you do not want to get on her bad side if she has had a long day at work or a long day with her son damien. a girl can only take so much before she snaps. elle is not one to get physically violent but when she snaps, the meanest things she can think of come spitting out of her mouth. the sweest girl goes wild with rage.

AMUSING
now a sense of humor is something that was ingrained in elle from childhood. a good use of sarcasm and irony are used by elizabeth in her everyday life. she loves to bring a smile to those around her and will use sarcasm and irony to subtly get her feeling out. most often elle is using sarcasm at work, to make fun of the frat boys that come to gawk at her and leave her tips. that way, she can make fun of them and have them laugh without them even knowing she insulted them.

the blonde little girl named elle forward was the queen of her block as a child. she watched out for the underdogs and had mastered the jungle jim. as opposed to some of her friends, elizabeth grew up a privileged childhood. her lawyer father and teacher mother forced her to go to ballet on mondays and piano on wednesdays. a very young elizabeth gained a constant companion in her brother cameron who was her best friend growing up. from all accounts, no matter who you asked, elizabeth has a wonderful childhood and if anything was a wonderful child. the mothers of the neighborhood constantly complimented elizabeth wishing she was their own child. she was a people pleaser from a young age.

HIGH SCHOOL
in high school, elle's habit of people pleasing was still there. she was headed for valedictorian, was in national honor society, and was homecoming queen as well as prom queen. she did everything to please everyone, except maybe herself. making others happy was her top priority for years, until she met matthew. the twenty-one year old dream boat was someone that elizabeth found herself drawn to immediately. he was dark, brooding, intelligent, and most of all daring. his sense of no consequences brought elizabeth in and wish she could have those qualities. she met him through her brother when she went to pick him up at the car shop he hung around. there was matthew ryan laveau, the son of the owner, her first love. the two would fall in love within the following months and by the end of her senior year, matthew would have her virginity and she would have a child developing in her womb. having morning sickness during her valedictorian speech, elle knew things were going to change as soon as she sensed she pregnant. she denied going to duke, brown, and yale to marry matthew in a justice of the peace marriage. at the age of eighteen, elizabeth was pregnant, married, and living in a two room apartment, alienated from her family. her life was going farther and farther away from what she had expected or wanted.

DAMIEN
despite the fact that elizabeth has neither wanted nor expected to get pregnant, she embraced her pregnancy and enjoyed every moment of it. the baby showers, preparing of the nursery, and making booties were all the happiest moments of elle's life as she felt her son kicking at her uterus wall. the months seemed as if they would never pass by fast enough until damien ryan was born. by the time young damien was born, elle's married life was turning to shambles and she has been left on her own to take care of herself and her newborn son.

MARRIED LIFE
though pregnancy was everything it was cracked up to be, married life wasn't. every moment of every day elizabeth and matthew fought like cats and dogs. elle knew by the third month of their marriage that things were not going to end well. matthew began not to come home at night and then began not to come home for weeks. when he did, he was weight down by alcohol as were his words. elizabeth began to save money for her own benefit. she began to plan her escape from the marriage as soon as damien was born. once young damien was in her life, elle packed all of her belongings up at the age of twenty and found herself on her parent's doorstep, begging for a place to stay. she begged for forgiveness and for them to accept her son as well as her. her parents agreed reluctantly and proved it would be only temporary, though they couldn't help but support their gorgeous young grandson. within the next six months, elle's married life was over as she got full custody of her son, divorced her husband, and changed her and her son's last names.


NOW
elizabeth's dreams of college remained unfulfilled as she needed to find a place to work immediately. a job opening at hooters was her first option and the one she took. the long hours wearing a push-up padded bra were ones that elizabeth knew were necessary. she has a son to take care of, her parent's could only support so much. single life treated elle well, as she didn't have a drunken husband to take care of.
