FEARS: Elle hates the idea of being taken advantage of. Being vulnerable never suited her and she promised to never let herself appear weak in front of others. Elle is like wildfire. Her emotions can easily ignite from even the smallest spark. A heated argument with her often combusts into yet another dramatic issue. And whatever mess Elle gets herself into, at least twenty other people would have to be involved. Elle‘s personality can‘t be understood after one explanation but it can be described with one word: complex. Naughty or nice, good or evil, it's impossible for her to be one or the other. Yet, Elle does have her moments when she decides to do some random act of kindness. Though, she only ever goes through with pointless favors or good deeds unless she's getting something out of it. It may be hard for people to believe, but Elle's personality isn't all acid and vehemence.
Okay, on a day to day basis she'll act like the bitch from hell... To Elle, being bitter is better than being bored. You could say she sort of starts trouble, but everyone finds means for amusement in some way. For Elle, it's at the expense or embarrassment of others. Yes, she really could care less if she hurts others when she purposefully does so, but there are occasions where she'll feel a tad bit guilty for the mischeif she's caused.
There are hints of consideration and kindness somewhere in that intricate personality. Being a Rockefeller heiress was never easy for her and it explains the hard and unfeeling exterior. Composure and focus was enforced into Elle's childhood and she grew up learning how to fend for herself in high society. Through the years, she'd adjusted to making herself number one on her priorities list. Family to Elle is more of just a name or an obligation; it's nowhere close to the typical affectionate relationship most families share. As for everyone else, they're often only seen as figures who adjust with and around her. They're never nothing more than just... people.
There have been conquests and 'lovers', though nothing even close to platonic. Minus a certain boy who'd managed to get through her numb disposition. It turned out that his real aim wasn't her but her last name and the income that came with it. Of course, that immediately ended. The affair was a close call and it nearly broke her. So to save herself from ever being close to falling apart again, she shut out her heart. Her own stupidity beat the pain she'd felt. 'Never Again' was her resolution. Poor Elle, as rich as she is, she can't even afford having a heart. [/ul]
