OUR RULES

Firstly, the main rules on this forum is to have fun, while following these rules and the proboards TOS. So with that said, we ask all new members to be thirteen years and over, otherwise a ban is put in place and you shall be reported to proboards. We are putting this rule in place so you, don't feel uncomfortable with some of the content you might find on the site, like sexual content, or explicit language used within threads.
We encourage that you supply a signature image for your character, or in some cases characters. Just remember: your signature image(s) MUST NOT stretch the page by a large proportion. If they do, we will ask you to resize them, or we shall resize them ourselves if you cannot do so. We do not accept anime characters as play by plays.
When you are in a role-play situation, please try to remain literate. One-liners are NOT acceptable and never will be. Any person, if given the opportunity, can write up an intelligible reply or thread starter. We do not have a minimum word count, we just ask you try and write as much as you can to make it easier on both you and the person you are role playing with. We all know how hard it is to reply to a two sentence post.
If writing R rated content (sexually explicit) please put in your topic title 'WARNING' so other users know if they are reading mature and sexual content. Some users may not be comfortable with writing content like that, so if you are getting into that situation with two characters ask them firstly if they are alright with writing it, otherwise skip to the next morning and continue on from there.
Please remain active! It’s understandable if you’re not on all of the time. I mean, we do all have a life away from the computer, but come on, it’s not that hard to check it every couple of days or so. Even if you post in a game, just try please. We do clear outs every 15 days if you havent signed in, in those fifteen days you will lose your character and play by play.
Once you have been approved, you are free to role-play and develop your character. Once the color of your characters name changes you have been accepted. Some times we can't move applications straight away, due to a high number of sign ups, so you ask you to be patient when waiting to be accepted. But as we've said, if you account name changes color, you have been accepted.
Follow the normal role-playing rules. No godmodding. You’re not God, nor will you ever be, so you can’t possibly know the actions, thoughts, and speak of the person you’re role-playing with. There are some levels of god modding which are okay in our books, all those simple little things characters do, like eating and such. But firstly make sure it is okay with the person with whom you are roleplaying.
You must be in the third person, past tense, when in a role-play situation. Don’t know what that is? Take a look at Google.
Remember that you are playing as a FICTIONAL character. It is very easy to get the life of your character mixed up with your own personal life.
To ease confusion, people who are playing more than one character must create a new account for each of their characters. It’s easier for all that way.
There will be no discrimination at all on this board. Any racial, sexual, or any types of other rude, nasty, hurtful remarks will not be tolerated. If you feel you have been mistreated, you are to contact the admin immediately.
If your character wishes to be killed, die of a disease, fall pregnant, or any life changing events in your characters life, please inform a staff member and they will discuss it and get back to you with approval or disapproval. if found having done anything majorly life changing you will face the consequences.
If you finish a thread, please notify a staff member and they will move it immediately to the trash. This way we are keeping the forum clean and neat. And we won't be bogged down in old threads.
If you wish to change the play by play of your character you may do so, but please write a note with your new claim letting the staff know who you are changing it from.
This rule is a must for activity, please sign into every account you have everyday, saves the hassle of recreating an account once a member clear up is completed. it also makes us look more active.
Large plot changes must be roleplayed out in a topic and not in the in character cbox, which is only for chat, nothing more.
We are NOT an advertising site, therefore you are NOT allowed to advertised in any way shape or form in your signature, or your character profile. We have a board for member advertising! use that and that alone. If you are found with a link to an external site in your profile/signature, you will be banned for 2 days. If you are a repeat offender, you will be banned for a longer term, and if this continues, you will face expulsion from the site. The only spot allowed is the URL section when you "modify" your profile and the advertising board.
